Last year I had a scary bout of heart palpitations, watched my child suffer and struggle with their health, I heard and read story after story of people my age or younger, from all walks of life, here and living life one moment gone the next.  I have friends who literally stood on the brink of death and teetered so close to the edge it took my breath away to hear their story.  In all of it, the fear of death has attempted to dig in it's talons and I have been tempted to be afraid of everything.  Afraid the echo missed something and there is something really wrong each time by heart skips a beat, scared that life will get even harder for my child, scared of the common cold, or riding my bike, or going out for a run...on and on it could go but for today.  Because Jesus chose to lay down His life Hebrews 3:14 & 15 are truth to me, I can live free of the fear of death.

Hoping you are having an amazing Passover week, and that Jesus remains ever beautiful to you.

Isaiah 53:4-5

Surely He took up our infirmities
And carried our sorrows,
Yet we consider Him stricken by God,
Smitten by Him, and afflicted.
But He was pierced for our transgressions,
He was crushed for our iniquities;
The punishment that brought us peace was upon Him,
And by His wounds we are healed.

I pray that that thing you are carrying, that thing you are fighting through, the thing that feels like it will never be ok?  I pray that you see it through the lenses of this verse.
