Collateral Damage

by Lynette Eason

LOVED this book.  I was impressed with Lynette Eason's writing style when I read two of her novellas coupled in with Dee Henderson and Dani Pettrey...so I went searching to see if our library had any of her stand alone novels.

This book was REALLY so good!

It kicked off with a scene in Kabul, Afghanistan - three friends meet up at a café they are known to frequent.  Their stories (seemingly unrelated) intertwine and unfold in unexpected ways.  Brooke ends up back in the states to rebuild and recover her life after feeling like she made no difference whatsoever...only to find out that just because you leave a country, trouble can (and often does) follow you home.

HIGHLY recommend!!
