What I read...

This week was miserable.  I am so glad we are on this side of it.

As far as reading goes...

Re-listened to:

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban

Pre-read: 

The wrong book - ha!  No, seriously, I pre-read the wrong book.  You see, I thought I was reading The Candy Shop War, but that I had gotten the title wrong somehow and it was actually called The Candymakers...because what are the chances that I would check the wrong book out of the library.  Apparently quite high.  

They are two completely different stories.  Both about candy, but still...different stories.

And authors.

In The Candymakers, there are four kids you get to know through a candy making contest, and not a single kid is as easy to figure out as the first, second, and sometimes third glance through leads you to believe.  Once I figured out I was reading a different book than the one I thought I was reading, it ended up being quite a cute story with some great lessons tucked inside.

Hopefully this next week will be better for us?  And maybe, just maybe, I will pre-read the correct book?!?!
