Bible Study update

As the new year kicked off, I floundered a bit in my Bible reading/study plans...but here is where I ended up landing:

1) Colossians study hosted by Handmade Knits on F*cebook

2) Going through the Sermon on the Mount study again (book by Dr. Martyn Lloyd-Jones with workbook by Kari Denker) 

3) Practicing what I learned through reading Women of the Word using Psalm 119 on Instagram

How is it going?

I love the Colossians study!  I love the book of Colossians, and I love getting to dig into the Word (even if just remotely) in a group to see/hear other people's insights into the Word.

I am astounded by how much I am gleaning from the second round of Sermon on the Mount study...so rich and so good.

My absolute favorite Psalm is Psalm 119 and it is SO neat to practice what I learned in Jen Wilkin's book Women of the Word with this Psalm.  

Am I doing any of these perfectly?  

NO!!!!!!!!!!!!  I am trying to just get into the Word as consistently as possible and make it my absolute anchor.

I also found the NEATEST prayer idea on IG - a girl name Georgia Brown posted about her prayer closet and we are adapting a version of it and it is amazing how much it has already changed our prayer habits.  I will post about it at the end of the year, because I can't wait to see what God is going to do!
