My place beside you, my blood for yours.
Till the Green Ember rises, or the end of the world.
Ember Falls begins where The Green Ember left off, with the individual rabbit citadels all gathered and tenuously united, but can they stand united when it matters most? Treachery abounds, surprises around every corner...who can Heather and Picket trust? They soon find out very, very few are who they say they are and even fewer will stand for the Green Ember. Instead they are standing, fighting, clawing for their own glory, their own interests.
I finally finished book two and immediately began book three (Ember Rising). As I turned the last page of Ember Rising, I realized that I do not actually have a copy of book four, so it will be a bit longer before I finish the series.
I know this is perhaps so unfair to S.D. Smith, but I feel like I have to say it, if you are waffling between this series or Andrew Peterson's Wingfeather Saga - the Wingfeather Saga (in my opinion) is SOOOOOO much richer - choose Wingfeather Saga!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just read with a box of tissues nearby.
Aaaannd I also read another book by Dana K. White (aka Nony the Slob). How to Your Home Without Losing Your Mind by Dana K. White is amazing and funny and so, so practical. I love reading her books.
Hope you had a great reading week.💖
